Back to School picnic and Block Party

The family spent the entire day at these two events, which took place right next to each other. The kids had fun playing with their friends, jumping in the bouncy house, watching the magician, and eating lots of yummy food : )

Branson West trip

In Branson West, we went to Silver Dollar City and took lots of rides like the real steam engine train ride, and the froggy ride. We also saw the stunt dog show, ate taffy and ice cream, and Dylan walked through Grandfather's mansion three times. It was hot, but we had a good time.

We also stopped at the Ripley's Believe it Or Not Museum, ate at some great restaurants, swam in the condo pool, and played cards with Grandpa Ted, Grandma Joyce, Chris, and Janie. We also went through Springfield and ate a few great restaurants, including Incredible Pizza, Nonna's, and Mexican Villa. We capped off the trip with a nice dinner in downtown Branson, and fireworks at the Branson Landing.

Jackson Trip

In Jackson, we hung out with the Seabaughs, my Aunt, Uncle, and cousins. I also visited downtown Cape Girardeau, and the kids played with their second cousins, Ellie and Dawson.

St. Louis trip

Our trip to St. Louis included a great visit to Grant's Farm. We also went to Maryland Height's Aquaport and had an awesome dinner at The Melting Pot but I didn't get any good pictures or videos of it.

Boonville trip

In Boonville, the kids got to experience Heritage Days, a great small town celebration with a patriotic parade with lots of candy, a carnival, and a car show. Grandma Jeannie also made a beautiful Dorothy dress for Anna to wear for Halloween.

Office Picnic

Dylan and Anna saw their friend Miranda at the office picnic.

Adler Planetarium

We went to the Adler Planetarium, but I thought the best video was them taking a walk and playing outside.

We had a good time today at the WOOGMS parade. We attend this event almost every year.First, Dylan and Anna got their outfits on.

Chic-A-Go-Go

Chicago has a great dancing kids show. We went to its 15-year anniversary show, and Dylan and Anna did a lot of dancing.

Outdoor soccer videos

Dylan scored five goals at his outdoor soccer game today. I caught four of them on tape. He also had a great turn and a close shot at goal.

Cuddly Boy

Dylan snuggling Anna while they sleep. He's such a snuggly boy. Unfortunately, she doesn't like it when he touches or snuggles her while she sleeps. If she new about this she'd probably protest : ) Daddy and I, on the other hand, love to wake up with him snuggling us like this.

Dylan's 6th Birthday Party

Dylan and his buddies had a great time at his Lil' Kickers Birthday Party!

Anna's 4th Birthday Celebration

For Anna's 4th birthday she and all her princess friends went bowling. Cutest group of princesses I have ever seen. Grandma Jeannie made all the tutu's and the crowns, and they were a hit! What little girl doesn't like to dress like a princess every now and then.

Sweet Pea and her Doggy

Anna really loved on this puppy for a few days. She got it from a cute kids show, "Pigeon Wants a Puppy," at the Apollo.

Proud Award Recipients

Both Dylan and Anna received awards today and they are both very proud. Dylan got an "I did my best" ribbon from his teacher for writing a story and drawing a picture of his trip to Legoland. He's getting so grown up. Anna received an award in gymnastics/dance class. She got the medal after her recital. Hopefully daddy will post a video later - it's too cute.

Snuggle Buddies

Dylan and Anna are now both sleeping in Anna's bed. I guess the bunkbeds are just for show now : )

Trip to Legoland

The kids really had fun at Legoland. Who wouldn't!! Everything was made out of legos. Daddy liked lego Obama best, Dylan liked the Dragon ride best, Anna liked the jungle room best, and mommy liked the framed famous art made of legos best.
